Support Engineer
You will need to be fully mobile in this role and be flexible to travel. Starting salary of C.£25K with considerable increase in Year 1. Potential to move into Senior Support, Testing, DevOps or Development. 06 months minimum IT Support experience - commercial or internship. We are looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over two years’ experience within an IT related role and have experience with Windows systems. You will be responsible for providing 2nd Line support for on-prem IT systems infrastructure and Cloud technologies.

Skills & Qualifications
- Technical Support: Ability to provide technical assistance to computer users and resolve technical issues.
- Help Desk Support: Proficiency in providing support for help desk operations and user assistance.
- Operating Systems: Knowledge and experience in configuring and troubleshooting various operating systems.
- Active Directory: Understanding and expertise in managing and troubleshooting Active Directory services.
- Desktop Support: Ability to provide support for desktop systems and resolve related issues.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux, Mac OS), networks, and mobile devices.
- Troubleshooting Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Customer Focus: Ability to understand customer needs and provide clear instructions and solutions.
- Documentation Skills: Experience in maintaining accurate records, procedural documents, and knowledge base articles.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay updated with advancements in the support sector and be ready to adapt to new software and hardware solutions.
